My next book from the University of Iowa Press, "Harker's One-room Schoolhouses", is slated for release in December. Paul Theobald of Buffalo State College holds a PHD in rural and urban education and has written an excellent introduction. Jim Heynen, who wrote the essays in"Harker's Barns" has reviewed the Schoolhouse book and highly praises it as a sequel to "Harker's Barns".
